WKEL-6010: Workshop: Continuous Instructional Improvement (1 hour)
This workshop focuses on the need for educational leaders within schools to be engaged in continuous instructional improvement efforts. Emphasis is placed on the principal or teacher leaders in a team situation for the purpose of developing meaningful school improvement planning and implementation. Participants will understand how to apply trust-building practices to school environments and identify the importance of building and promoting trust with peers, colleagues and external stakeholders.
WKEL-6030: Workshop: Instructional Leadership for School Improvement (1 hour)
Participants who complete this course are educational leaders and will have the knowledge and ability to promote the success of all students by promoting a positive learning culture for all stakeholders and a comprehensive growth plan for staff members.
WKEL-6040: Workshop: Leadership for School Improvement, Results and Accountability (1 hour)
This workshop explores the theoretical and practical underpinnings of being accountable as a leader through examining and establishing processes for school improvement, results and accountability. Education leaders will be able to apply concepts of leadership to analyze school-level, teacher-level, and school-level factors impacting student learning. In addition, educators will be able to understand research-based factors involved in student achievement and organizational performance.
WKEL-6050: Ohio Assistant Principal Leadership Academy (3 hours)
