Parking Regulations

Parking Regulations

Concordia University Chicago students are required to register their on-campus vehicle to aid campus safety.  Resident or Commuter permits have separate fees each semester and similar restrictions.  Please apply for your permit on CUConnect under “Resources”, “Campus Parking and Transportation”, “Apply for a Permit”.  The following vehicle information is required: license plate, license state, primary color, make, model, and model year.  A temporary permit can be printed, or the actual permit will be available within 72 hours at Switchboard reception desk (Public Safety) located in Addison Hall.  Window permits shall be displayed on the driver’s side rear window in the lower left corner.

Weekends 6 a.m. – 2 a.m.
Lot #2 Christopher Center Weekdays 6 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Weekends 6 a.m. – 2 a.m.

Parking is at your own risk. Public Safety investigates accidents and coordinates accident reports with the River Forest Police Department, as necessary.  Please note that parking restrictions in Lot #2 in front of the Christopher Center/Early Childhood Center is only permitted after 6 p.m.  due to DCFS and village regulations.  Please click here for the complete parking regulations on campus.  Failure to receive a permit or to follow the guidelines of the campus parking policy will result in ticketing and fines (including unregistered guests) that will be applied to the student’s account. Violations of these policies will result in parking fines as defined in the regulations with tickets starting at $50.00. 

Street parking

Street parking is strongly discouraged and is subject to local ordinances enforced by the River Forest Police Department.
