BUS-1001: Survey of Business (3 hours)

This course introduces business students to the functions and operations of business and organizational management, the effective use of technology for educational and business purposes, research techniques, and introduces the expectations for APA form and style in business writing and communication. This is a required, core course. Students will take the Peregrine pretest in this course. Recommended for first semester. *Waive BUS-1001 for all transfer students who have 15 credit hours or more of business courses. Fee: Required.

BUS-4950: Independent Study in Business (1-6 hours)

BUS-4990: College of Business Internship (1-6 hours)

A business internship is a supervised business related work experience that is approved for earning credit in the major. Internships are open to business majors with a 3.0 GPA and who have been approved by the College of Business. Prerequisites: ACC-2101, MGT-2001, and MKT-2101.
